Dr. Katherine Aberle, MD - Otolaryngology (ENT) is a board certified Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon with 17 years of experience. She treats the broad spectrum of ENT disorders, with particular interest in pediatrics and sinus related concerns. She was nominated a Kansas City Top Doc in 2020, and she received the Balance Award in 2019 at Advent Health Shawnee Mission for promoting Women's Physician Wellness. In 2018, she started a Women in Medicine group in Kansas City. Dr. Aberle serves on Physician Leadership at Advent Health as well. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine between 2007 and 2012. Before joining Ascentist Healthcare, Dr. Aberle was in private practice in Colorado for approximately two and a half years. She later relocated to the Kansas City area, where she joined ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City. Over the years, she has developed a particular interest in minimally invasive sinus surgery, allergy treatments, and pediatric ENT disorders. Dr. Aberle also offers in-office sinus procedures and allergy drop therapy, providing patients with convenient alternatives to traditional treatments. Dr. Aberle is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a member of the American Rhinologic Society. In 2019, Dr. Aberle received the Balance Award from AdventHealth Shawnee Mission for promoting women's physician wellness. She was nominated as a Kansas City Top Doc in 2020, reflecting her commitment to excellence in patient care. Dr. Aberle practices at multiple locations, including Ascentist Healthcare in Lee's Summit, MO, and several other clinics across the Kansas City area. She is highly praised by her patients for her thorough approach to care, clear communication, and effective treatments.
