Vivo Y79 smartphone was launched in November 2017. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. Vivo Y79 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Vivo Y79 runs Android 7.1 and is powered by a 3225mAh non-removable battery.

The Vivo Y79 runs Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).
