What started as a British entrepreneur’s exclusive road trip adventures for famous friends has evolved into a celebrity motor rally like no other. Maximillion Cooper’s Gumball 3000 is a prestigious event that brings the world’s who to celebrate the most delicate things in life, starting from the sleekest automobile to the sexiest models and the latest fashions. With the 2016 rally close by (April 30 to May 7), it’s about time that you booked your tickets to an event that Top Gear lovingly describes as “a tortuous process that gives you access to indulge endlessly within unreal experiences.”

If you need a little extra motivation, here are five reasons to get your heart revving and remind you why you shouldn’t miss the Gumball 3000 this year.

1. Cars, Car, and More CARS

Gumball 3000 is yet to disappoint car enthusiasts despite running for almost two decades. Expect to see some of the craziest, fastest, and most expensive cars worldwide. Last year alone, the start line was a mesmerizing sight with cars such as McLaren F1 GTR, Batman’s Tumbler, Lamborghini LM002, a six-wheeled military vehicle, and a 1959 Ferrari TR revving to make their way from Stockholm to Las Vegas.

If your car doesn’t fit the ‘superfast and quirky’ bill, you’re welcome to ride in one of the participating vehicles, including Rolls Royce and Ferrari.

Josh Cartu, one of rally’s main attraction, says, “A number of people re-excited for Gumball 3000 for the exclusive cars that are going to be there. Even I am very excited to see my competition!”

This year’s form contains an Additional Information section where you can mention your ideal co-driver, favorite care, ultimate driving song, and city. Expect something exciting as a result.

2. Exclusive Tour of Europe

Get ready to explore eight of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Your journey starts from Dublin on April 30, where some of the most expensive, impressive, and rare cars wait to begin their 3,000-mile journey the next day. Later on May 1, the cars will cross the Irish Sea and arrive in the Scottish capital Edinburgh for the public to idolize them in a static car show.

The next day, Gumball 3000 will roll into London and parade through the city center. Expect to be greeted by a crowd as May 2 is a bank holiday, and everyone would like to see the exclusive vehicles this rally brings to town. If you’re not used to the fuss, all you need to do is bear with it for one day as you’ll be driving to The Alps on May 3 until you reach Cooper’s secret hideout for a private dinner and charity auction.

And there’s more. On May 4, you’ll be zooming through Prague among public displays and festivities. The next day, you’ll be in scenic Budapest, where you and your family can indulge in various activities. Finally, your journey will end in Bucharest on Friday, May 6. However, the fun will start as you have two days of festivities ahead in the Romanian capital.

3. Wildest Finish Party

The Finish Party scheduled on May 7 will make the Gumball 3000 go out with a bang. As part of the exclusive Gumballers posse, you’ll receive full access to some of Bucharest’s hottest night spots. You’ll also be serenaded by some artists who drove the 3,000 miles along with you. Last year, The Alchemist, rapper Bun B, and Deadmau5 rocked the party despite Maximillion Cooper stressing them and other Gumballers throughout the rally, forcing them to beg for mercy only to make plans for the following year.

4. High Fashion and Down-to-Earth Stars

A former model once represented by the Elite model agency and a fashion designer, the founder of Gumball 3000, has made the year’s highly-anticipated rally ‘THE’ place to satisfy your thirst for fashion. Expect fabulous shoots, shows, and everything fashion from sponsors, including Guess and Armin Strom. Further doubling the fun is a host of handpicked celebrities. This year, expect to rub shoulders with F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, Tony Hawk, David Hasselhoff, Tommy Lee, and EVE. Others on the guest list include over 50 people off the Forbes 500 list and several Middle Eastern royal families.

Also, there will be past winners, including Josh Cartu, who will have the Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton as his co-pilot this year.

5. You

You are one of the biggest reasons you should be part of Gumball 3000. In addition to sharing the limelight with some of the best drivers and stars in the world, you get to unwind for a week by partying, attending concerts, and satisfying your love for cars. Yet since nothing is free in the world, expect to be pushed by Maximillion Cooper himself to be part of the action every time, ensuring that you have a week you’ll forever remember.

Care roadmap for: 5 Reasons You Should Be Part of Gumball

Use this simple roadmap to understand the next safe steps. It is educational and does not replace examination by a doctor.

Go to emergency care if you notice:
  • Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms
  • Breathing difficulty, chest pain, fainting, confusion, severe weakness, major injury, or severe dehydration
Doctor / service to discuss: Qualified healthcare provider; specialist depends on symptoms and examination.
  1. Step 1

    Check danger signs first

If danger signs are present, seek emergency care and do not wait for online information.

  2. Step 2

    Record the symptom story

Write when symptoms started, severity, medicines already taken, allergies, pregnancy status, and test results.

  3. Step 3

    Visit a qualified clinician

A doctor, nurse, or qualified healthcare provider can examine you and decide which tests or treatment are needed.

  4. Step 4

    Do only useful tests

Do tests after clinical assessment. Avoid unnecessary tests, random antibiotics, or repeated medicines without diagnosis.

  5. Step 5

Follow up and return early if worse

If symptoms worsen, new warning signs appear, or treatment is not helping, return for review quickly.

Rural patient practical tips
  • Take a written symptom diary and all previous prescriptions/test reports.
  • Do not hide medicines already taken, even herbal or over-the-counter medicines.
  • Ask which warning signs mean urgent referral to hospital.

This roadmap is for education. A real diagnosis and treatment plan requires history, examination, and clinical judgment.
