Definition

Vitamin B16 is a  water-soluble vitamin derivative of the amino acid glycine; it has a similar chemical structure to another water-soluble vitamin. It is an essential vitamin for the human body that is obtained from a different source that includes beans, , whole grains, and coating of rice. The structural formula of vitamin B-16 is (CH3)2NCH2COOH. In the body, vitamin b16 is absorbed in the and then the body liver converts it into other useful metabolites. Vitamin B-16 also functions as a building block to DNA, amino acids, neurotransmitters, and hormones.
