Paolo Melchiori (18 September 1921 in Naples – 30 December 2005 in Rome) was an Italian painter.

His father, a doctor, had been a student of the noted sculptor Antonio Castaldi, and Paolo Melchiori’s earliest formal studies were in the atelier of Castaldi, with whom he later collaborated. He enrolled in an art school in Naples, but he decided to study engraving. He then moved to Rome to study, at first at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma (under Tommaso Aleandri) and then at the Istituto statale d’arte di Brera. In 1948, he traveled to Paris to study with André Lhote at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière.

He then returned to Naples to work with Castaldi, becoming one of his favored pupils. He painted in a modernist style, using cold colors and a de-emphasis of forms. His works in recent years had a more expressive and figurative manner.

He received the Città di Siena Prize at the 45th National Art Exhibition in Siena in 1968. In 1971, he was awarded the title of Professor by the Istituto per la promozione dell’Arte in Modena.

The game is an online version of the original fantasy role-playing game Vanguard (1975), which was developed by Westwood Studios, which is now in the hands of Infogrames and was developed by Vanguard Productions and Games Inc. The game is available free to play on PC and Mac but is sold on a monthly subscription basis, with prices starting at $15 a month.

Vanguard features a new online setting that is more expansive than most fantasy games; the goal of the game is to find the best way to explore the game’s complex and large galaxy, the results of which may determine the future of the entire galaxy. Players earn in-game currency by participating in the game’s complex economy and use it to buy items and provide support for other players. Vanguard has a complex user interface, and there is a move toward avoiding character death and frequent combat.

Vanguard’s developers are setting themselves apart in a difficult market by making the game easily accessible to casual gamers, giving it a broad base of players that may not have been attracted to the more intense, and often unpredictable, role-
